I love the babes in Christ, but we need to build a strong, safe, stable house for them to dwell in. Especially when the storms of life come. Believe me they are on the way and even at the door. I can hear the wind blowing...Can You? Its time to get the kids in the House!!! Amen!

Right now we are in the midst of the DNC (that's Democratic National Convention). That's at Denver if you live under a rock. Although if you live under a rock you might not know where Denver is anyway. I think it's great to have the Convention here. It give a good opportunity to talk about citizenship. After all, as Christians we live in a particular time and place.

I know it's been a while. Life has really sped up. The good news: after much frustration we have a house!

Do you ever hear God saying anything to you? I'm not talking about voices in your head but God speaking to you in other ways. Do you take the time to listen or know what to listen for?

Oh yes Also and certainly not a small thing. He set one of our members free from prison. The doors were just flung open. Thank God that He still set men and women FREE!!

We're starting a new series at University Lutheran all about our tagline or core value statement - "A Jesus Centered Community of Scripture, Faith, and Grace." Today we were talking about what it means for us to be centered on Jesus.
